Our engineering efforts are supervised by a licensed Professional Engineer in responsible charge. We hold a Certificate of Authority from the Commonwealth of Virginia for rendering Professional Engineering Services (which is a statutory requirement in Virginia). We currently have three Ph.D., P.E.’s on staff.

We have active collaborations with local universities with laboratories located at the Applied Research Center and we have user access to laboratory facilities at Jefferson Lab, the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and universities in three other states. We have a Space Act Agreement contract for use of equipment at the NASA Langley Research Center.
